1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking or authorising any service with Airbagrepair, you (“the Customer”) agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all airbag-related diagnostics, repairs, reprogramming, module resets, and replacements carried out by us.
2. Safety Disclaimer
Airbag systems are safety-critical components. While every effort is made to ensure all repairs and replacements meet industry standards:
[Company Name] assumes no responsibility for injury, loss, or damage resulting from misuse, improper installation by third parties, or undetected pre-existing faults within the vehicle's electrical or SRS system.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure repairs are roadworthy and re-tested post-installation if the vehicle is used on public roads.
3. Service Limitations
We offer the following services:
Airbag module repair/reset
Crash data removal
SRS fault diagnosis
Component testing and replacement (if agreed in writing)
We do not:
Guarantee the resolution of issues unrelated to the airbag system
Cover other vehicle faults that may trigger SRS lights
Reinstall parts that have been tampered with or previously repaired unprofessionally
4. Payment Terms
Full payment is required prior to collection or dispatch of any vehicle or component.
We accept [list payment methods]. No credit or delayed payment terms are offered without a written agreement.
Diagnostic fees are non-refundable, even if no repair is carried out or the fault is intermittent.
5. Refund & Return Policy
No refunds are issued for airbag repairs, diagnostics, or software resets.
Refunds may be offered only on replacement parts, subject to our Refund Policy (see separate document).
Labour, programming, and testing costs are not refundable under any circumstances.
6. Warranty
We offer a limited warranty on specific repairs or replacement components (if stated on your invoice).
Warranty is void if parts are tampered with, water-damaged, involved in a further accident, or improperly installed.
Warranty covers functionality only, not removal, shipping, or reinstallation labour.
7. Vehicle Storage & Abandonment
Vehicles left on site for more than 7 days after job completion may incur a storage fee of £25/day unless otherwise agreed in writing.
After 30 days of non-collection, the vehicle may be deemed abandoned and disposed of to recover costs, in accordance with the Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977.
8. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
Disclose all relevant fault history and prior repairs
Ensure the vehicle is safe to work on and that airbags are not live or deployed (unless disclosed)
Collect your vehicle or parts promptly once notified
9. Limitation of Liability
[Company Name] is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost income, vehicle downtime, or travel costs.
Liability is strictly limited to the cost of the specific service or part provided.
10. Data & Privacy
Customer information, including vehicle data and contact details, is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy (available upon request or on our website).
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
12. Amendments
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
